Beach Poker

When I came to India, over two years ago, I brought a poker set with me. It can be seen in the bottom-left corner. I had learned to play just before leaving the States. I discussed starting a weekly game on the beach with a friend from Ireland, Kevin, two years ago but it never started up. So, we set a time to meet today and get it going. It didn't go very far. The only other people that showed up didn't know how to play and were not interested in learning. Maybe next week will have more success.

I don't mention it often enough on here but we have met a lot of interesting people from all over the world while living in Goa. I have noticed that, for the most part, only good people with fascinating life stories manage to find their way to Goa.
