Cardboard Sunset Red

I changed a couple of the previous posts around to make room for the N-E-W Cardboard Sunset Red. This one still looks more orange than red, no? Man, red is tough.

I'm starting to question some of my previous name choices. Specifically, Red looks like it should be Orange and that makes Orange to be a better Yellow. Hmmmm...

Cardboard Sunset Blue

I've been messing around with this one for the past couple of days. First, I took a simple snap of the beach sunset. Second, I cropped the image to only one pixel wide. Then I stretched out that one line to the left and right. Finally, I layered it with some cardboard texture to give it a bit of life. I was close to tossing this one, but I just love the colors. Looks nothing like the original photo.

Trying out something different on a Monday night. A photo from Colva beach, near our church. Then, I scanned a small quick drawing I did of the photo. Then I combined them for what I would describe as, well, hideous.
