Lychee Plant and Another Photo
We fell in love with lychee fruit a couple months back. So I decided to plant one of the seeds about a month ago thinking I would grow an everlasting supply of fruit. Later, I learned that the plant grows to be 10 to 20 feet tall and takes 5 to 15 years to produce its first fruit. No fruit for some time to come but, another two layer photo experiment...

Eddie Vedder and Bad Quality Camera
I was listening to Eddie Vedder on the Into The Wild soundtrack this afternoon. Actually, I listened to it more than several times. And I got this idea to take some photos of uninteresting things so I could try to edit them into something worthwhile later. This really has no connection to the music I was listening to, but maybe creativity spawns creativity anyways. To be more specific, I took some photos of the same uninteresting thing with little variations of angle. At home, I combined two of the photos and fixed the color a bit. I like the fuzzed/bad quality camera effect I arrived at.

Mr. Mom and the Beach
We had a lazy Saturday, today. Well, at least the afternoon part of it. Had some leftovers for lunch then watched a film on the laptop. I decided on Mr. Mom, a comedy classic of sorts from the 80s. It came free with an order of a large pizza from Pizza Hut a couple years back. A little strange that, in the film, the family is eating pizza delivered to their home by Dominoes. I guess pizza is pizza. After the film, we rode down to the beach to watch the sunset. I found out that on Wednesday, there will be four performers playing classical Indian music at one of the beach shacks. Below is the latest baby photo.

Short Post and a Photo
I was doing some editing of a batch of photos from my last trip to Karnataka and I found this beauty. A tree had just been cut down onto the middle of the road during rush hour. It also knocked out some wires on its way down. Our bus back to Goa was an hour late getting to the station due to the delay. The guy on the bottom/left says it all.My parents and Genevi head home tomorrow.
Let's try to keep this blog rolling in the right direction, shall we?
