Visitors From England

A group of five came to hang out and play at the center for a couple days. I think all the kids had a blast! I think the adults were sad for too short of a time to get to know them.

Poi:Test

Genevi and Danielle had Hephzibah and I over for dinner tonight. We had take-out on their floor and ate with our fingers. That was Genevi's idea. 'Twas a good idea. After dinner, Danielle and I tested out our new poi from Home of Poi. These new poi are most excellent for night play as they gradually shift through every color known to man. That last statement is not completely accurate. Again, poi is better seen in person, but these photos are neat too.

Poi Season Is Upon Us

My guess is that most of the people who visit this site are not so familiar with poi. Last November, I saw a guy from Hungary playing with these two bags that were attached to strings. He was just swinging them around, doing nothing special. Then, a couple seconds later, he was weaving them back and forth over his head, behind his back and between his legs. The next day, I had my own set of bags attached to strings.

I seem to be trying to explain something with words that is hard enough to understand even with the eyes.
